Why you want to start with Vision for your business
START with VISION!
-a bit long but oh so important.
Sitting here in my favorite cafe this morning, while it is chilly outside, watching the sunrise paint the sky in gentle pinks and oranges, I found myself thinking about something that's been weighing in my head lately: how easy it is to lose sight of our original vision in the daily whirlwind of running a business.
You know those moments when you're buried in papers, drowning in emails, and juggling a million tasks!?! I've been there – we all have.Just yesterday, I caught myself getting completely wrapped up in the minutiae of all the analytics and forgot to check in with my "why" for a solid week.
But here's the thing I've learned through all the ups and downs of this journey: your vision isn't just some fancy statement you wrote when you started. It's your North Star. It's that flutter in your heart when you first dreamed up your business, that burning desire to make a difference in your own unique way. I remember sitting at this very table two years ago, scribbling my dreams on the back of a paper menu (yes, really!
). Looking at the notes and papers now – reminds me that every decision, every pivot, every challenge needs to align with that original spark that got me started.

Your vision is like a lighthouse in the storm of entrepreneurship. When the waves of doubt crash in, when the market shifts beneath your feet, when imposter syndrome comes knocking (and trust me, it always does), your vision is what keeps you anchored. It's what helps you say "yes" to the right opportunities and "no" to the distractions – even when those distractions sparkle pretty bright.
So today, I'm taking a moment to reconnect with my vision. I'm pulling out those notes, closing my laptop for a bit, and remembering why I started. And I'm inviting you to do the same.
Maybe your vision has evolved – that's beautiful too. The important thing is staying connected to it, letting it guide you, letting it ground you.
Because here's what I know for sure: the noise of the world is constantly trying to reshape our dreams, holding onto your vision isn't just important – it's essential.

It's the difference between building a business that drains you and creating one that lights you up every single morning!

What about you? When was the last time you sat down with your vision? How has it evolved? I'd love to hear your story in the comments below.
